With trolley operations throughout the weekends, maintenance on the trolley overhead has to be squeezed in whenever possible. Tonight, volunteers assisted by the M-25 Diesel and the one of a kind Aerial Bucket Car, seize the opportunity and get fresh bulbs into the light clusters around the museum area.

Our M25 diesel locomotive is a very useful piece of equipment. It does have one drawback, in that its engine (a Cummins HBI-600) is obsolete and parts are hard to find and expensive. We were therefore quite pleased when McHugh Locomotive & Crane of Fairless Hills, PA, arranged for us to receive an RTO engine from a locomotive it was rebuilding. This spare should help keep the M25 a viable piece of equipment for us for many years to come.
M25 spare engine now resides in our Car Barn 2 parts warehouse.

With decorations prepared, a crew used the Aerial Bucket Car and M-25 diesel locomotive to start hanging decorations on line poles around the yard area. Help is needed to complete decorations in the yard and along the line! Please contact us if you can help us prepare for our holiday visitors!
